Some words from friends of Earthbush...
For anyone who would like to be thoroughly spoilt from well appointed bedrooms with divine beds and with a bathroom to die for, to a beautiful lounge and glorious gardens and fabulous hosts, then this is the place to stay.
We enjoyed the hospitality of our hosts Barbara and Cliff who made us feel truly at home from the moment we arrived and the attention to detail was amazing. Barbara is a fabulous cook, so make sure you book for dinner !!! Nothing is too much trouble for this couple. The nibbles that appeared for afternoon tea where not only a surprise but divine !! A cup of tea was never too much trouble after we returned from our daily activities and the attention to my dietary requirements were very much appreciated. Cliff has done an amazing job in creating this house/home and the décor is a credit to them both.
The detail in the bedroom/bathroom really is top of the range and everything has been thought of. The house is something else in its own right, and it has such a warm and welcoming feel about it, it was lovely to come back to our ‘home’ each day. The grounds and garden are beautiful, the setting is just delightful and the animals roaming the grounds add a really nice lived in homely feel to the place. We just loved the resident moggies and the chooks !!!!
And if you are like me and like a bit of pampering, try walking across heated tiles to relax in the deep claw foot bath after dinner with a glass of wine where you can study the stars through the skylights !!!! True bliss !! When we left we felt relaxed and well rested, just what we needed. Many thanks to Barbara and Cliff for making our holiday so special. I am so pleased we found Earthbush, it really is a little oasis.
Would I come back?…….. in a heartbeat.
